The Innovation Awards of Inovatim Have Been Presented
The InovaTİM Innovation Awards Ceremony, organized within the framework of Türkiye Innovation Week, was held with the participation of Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Aşkın Bak, TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, and TİM Vice Chairman Kutlu Karavelioğlu.
Speaking at the event hosted by the Turkish Exporters Assembly, Chairman Mustafa Gültepe stated, "With InovaTİM, Türkiye's youngest and most innovative community, we aim not only to reward our young minds dedicated to innovation but also to unveil strong innovative ideas in a highly competitive environment. We perceive InovaTİM not merely as a competition but also as an educational institution.
So far, we've received over 7,000 applications for InovaTİM and formed 1,500 project teams. Our InovaTİM project teams have achieved significant success. Some projects have been deemed worthy of international awards and obtained notable rankings. 'Exports will rise with innovation, Türkiye will rise with exports'".
A total of 600,000 TRY in awards were distributed.
Under the scope of the InovaTİM Innovation Competition in the categories of Sustainability and Disaster Management Technologies, 2,037 students from 86 different universities applied. The future-generation algorithm identified ideal roles within teams for students. As a result, 686 teams were formed, and among 14 projects, 10 champion projects were selected. Sponsored by the "Turkish Machinery" and with contributions from Exporters' Associations, the third edition of the competition rewarded 24 students from 10 projects in two categories with a total of 600,000 TRY.
