Turkish Exporters Engaged in Commercial Contacts in China
Within the framework of the China (Guangzhou) General Trade Delegation program organized by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) and the Central Anatolian Exporters Associations (OAİB), exporters met with companies and conducted bilateral business meetings.
Coordinated by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) and the Central Anatolian Exporters Associations (OAİB) organized a trade delegation program to the city of Guangzhou, People's Republic of China, between April 15–18, with the aim of enhancing foreign trade volume and fostering tangible cooperation between firms.
The delegation, led by TİM Vice Chairman Çetin Tecdelioğlu, included representatives from exporting companies operating in a variety of sectors such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, textiles and raw materials, ready-to-wear and apparel, chemicals and chemical products, automotive, and electrical-electronics.
The program commenced with opening remarks by TİM Vice Chairman Çetin Tecdelioğlu, OAİB Secretary General Musa Demir, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangzhou Committee Huang Xiaofeng, and the Republic of Türkiye's Consul General in Guangzhou, Kaan Başkurt.
Following the opening speeches, nine companies from Türkiye held over 50 bilateral business meetings with more than 30 Chinese firms. The program concluded with market research activities and company visits, enabling participating firms to gain deeper insights into the local market.
