The Record For All Tıme in the Exports Has Been Broken

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced the export figures for March and the first quarter. In March, Türkiye's exports reached 18 billion 985 million dollars, the highest monthly export figure in the history of the Republic, with an increase of 42.2% compared to the same month last year despite the pandemic. The export family also achieved an all-time high first-quarter figure with exports of 50 billion 23 million dollars in the January-March period, an increase of 17.3% compared to the first quarter in 2020. The export family has succeeded in closing the last four months with March with a record. In March, 24 sectors increased their exports compared to the same month of the earlier year. 7 sectors set the highest monthly export record in their history. In the first quarter of the year, the automotive sector became first with $7 billion 690 million, Chemical Substances became second with $5 billion 310 million, and the Apparel sector became third with $4 billion 707 million. In March, our exporters managed to wave the Turkish flag in 218 countries and regions. Turkish exporters increased their exports to 150 countries. 11 provinces; Antalya, Denizli, İstanbul, Kahramanmaraş, Karabük, Kırşehir, Konya, Manisa, Niğde, Samsun and Tekirdağ; performed the highest monthly export in their history in March. Also, 74 provinces achieved significant success by increasing their exports in March.
