TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe: We made a general presentation to Hafize Gaye Erkan, Governor of Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, on important issues related to our exports. With the approach of our Central Bank, which prioritizes common mind, we had the opportunity to have extensive consultations. It was a very productive meeting for us.

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, a general trade delegation from Türkiye was organized to the West African countries of Mauritania and Senegal, in collaboration with the Türkiye Exporters' Assembly (TİM) and the General Secretariat of Istanbul Exporters Associations (İİB).

In the Ivory Coast Trade Delegation program organized on 4-8 December 2023 under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade and organized by Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) and İstanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters Associations (İTKİB), over 1300 meetings were held between Turkish exporters and more than 500 Ivorian companies.

Turkish exporters and Algerian company representatives held more than 180 bilateral business meetings as part of the Algeria Trade Delegation Program, which was organized by Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) and Uludağ Exporters Associations (UİB) under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade on December 4-7, 2023.

TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, who attended the 9th Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Committee between Türkiye and Qatar, graced by the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the President of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani.

Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of the Türkiye Exporters' Assembly (TİM) penned an article in the "Innovation and Export Report", prepared for the 10th anniversary of the Türkiye Innovation Week, focusing on commercializing Türkiye's R&D activities.

Among the top exporting sectors, automotive remained at the forefront with $3.172 billion, followed by chemicals at $2.09 billion, ready-to-wear apparel and clothing at $1.43 billion.

The Expanded Board Meeting of TİM, with the participation of Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdülkadir Uraloğlu, was held in Ankara.
