The Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) has launched the second edition of the 'Entrepreneurs of Türkiye Competition' this year.

Chemicals and chemical products sector took the lead in the list of top exporting sectors with 2.846 billion dollars. It was followed by the automotive sector with 2.822 billion dollars, and by the apparel sector with 1.7 billion dollars. The average per kilogram export value in September was recorded at 1.42 dollars.

The Turkish Export Products Fair was held in the capital city of Caracas, Venezuela, with the participation of various companies.

Mustafa Gültepe, emphasizing that Türkiye exports 42% of its total exports to EU countries, stated, "Europe will continue to be our largest market. With this reality in mind, we must expedite the alignment of all sectors with the Green Deal".

Egypt (Cairo) Trade Delegation (27-30 October 2023)

Organized annually by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) under the patronage of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, this year's Türkiye Innovation Week will be held from November 23 to 25 at the Haliç Congress Center.

In a strategic move set to elevate the prominence of Turkish brands in the international trade arena, the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) has entered into a pivotal Bilateral Cooperation Agreement with the esteemed International Trademark Association (INTA).

To further boost exports to Saudi Arabia, a trade delegation was organized in Riyadh from September 11th to 14th under the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce by the Deputy Chairman of Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM), Ahmet Fikret Kileci. He stated, "We discussed with Saudi officials how we can advance the increasing trade volume between the two countries and potential collaborations."

The "Sustainability Action Plan" of the Ship, Yacht, and Services sector was announced to the public during a promotional event held at the TİM Foreign Trade Complex.

Mustafa Gültepe stated, "We find it very appropriate that conditions such as the removal of additional foreign exchange sales and advance foreign exchange sales requirements have been eliminated with the new regulation. This initiates a process where SMEs receive a larger share of loans, and high-performing exporters are prioritized."
