"The importance of the logistics sector for our exports will continue to increase."
Speaking at the event, TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe stated, "Our country's foreign trade volume has significantly increased over the past decade. During this period of rising foreign trade volumes, our customs and logistics sectors have passed a critical test. In the coming period, these volumes will grow even more because we have embarked on the second century of the Republic with the vision of positioning Türkiye among the top 10 countries in exports. We aim to achieve $375 billion in goods exports by 2028. Thus, the importance of the logistics sector for our exports will continue to grow. Therefore, expanding our logistics capacity in line with our export targets and accelerating the compliance process with the Green Deal criteria are of paramount importance.”
"The outcomes of the workshop will make significant contributions to our country's commercial and economic life."
Commenting on the workshop, Trade Minister Prof. Ömer Bolat said, "We have discussed the overall status of our customs and logistics sectors, aiming to enhance their interaction and make our trade more efficient, thereby accelerating our country's exports. We listened to the suggestions and demands of sector representatives and engaged in mutual consultations. I believe the outcomes of this workshop will make significant contributions to our country's commercial and economic life."
