Yiğit Tufan Eser Has Been Appointed Secretary General of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly
Yiğit Tufan Eser has been appointed Secretary General of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM).
Eser began his career in the private sector with Fashionple Bilişim A.Ş. He subsequently joined the British company GKN Automative.
Mr. Eser joined the TIM family in 2016 and most recently served as Deputy Secretary General of TİM.
Yiğit Tufan Eser's Biography:
Eser was born in Yalova in 1986 and is originally from Eskişehir. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, which he completed in 2011. He subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Finance from Okan University in Istanbul in 2016 and completed the Executive program at Koç University in 2024.
Mr. Eser began his professional career at Fashionple Bilişim A.Ş., which he founded after completing his undergraduate education. He subsequently held the position of Projects Leader at GKN Automative, a global engineering company in the automotive industry, before joining the TİM family in 2016.
Mr. Eser has held various roles and positions at TİM over the years, primarily in the Foreign Relations and Activities departments. He has served as Deputy Secretary General since October 2020 and was appointed Secretary General of TİM as of November 1, 2024.
Mr. Eser is fluent in English.
