TİM Seeks Entrepreneurs for Türkiye's Centenary

The Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) has launched the second edition of the 'Entrepreneurs of Türkiye Competition' this year. This competition, open to all startups and companies operating in the technology sector across Türkiye, is organized in four distinct categories.

Applications are being received for "My Goal is Global Success", "Women Technology Startup", "Environment and Sustainability Friendly Informatics" and "Young Entrepreneur". The winners of Türkiye's Entrepreneurs Awards will be announced at the Türkiye Innovation Week, the most comprehensive innovation gathering celebrating the 10th year of Türkiye and its neighboring regions.

ACCLAIMED VENTURES EMBARK ON THE GLOBAL STAGE

The inaugural competition took place in 2018 and was exclusively open to TİM-TEB Entrepreneurship Center entrepreneurs. This year, the competition aims to identify Türkiye's top entrepreneurs by broadening its scope even further. Companies wishing to participate in the competition can submit their applications through the link www.turkiyeningirisimcileri.com.

Technological ventures recognized in the "Entrepreneurs of Türkiye Competition" have achieved significant successes in rapid growth and global expansion. Among these, some notable ventures include:

  • Segmentify, focusing on enhancing the turnover of brands conducting online sales with artificial intelligence technology by providing personalized shopping experiences to visitors. To date, Segmentify has served over 300 online stores in more than 40 countries.

 

  • Reengen, a cloud-based energy management platform that operated in Istanbul until 2021 and was among the 'Top 50 Most Innovative' companies. It relocated its headquarters to London and continued its journey under the brand Faradai.

 

  • REM People, providing artificial intelligence-based image recognition technologies and retail analytics services to over 50 countries, received a $12 million investment from the US-based investment firm Ethos Asset Management in early 2022. REM People embarked on its journey in Istanbul in 2015 and continued by opening regional offices in Dubai (UAE) in 2018 and London (UK) in 2022.
