South Korean and Turkish Company Representatives Had Bilateral Business Meetings at the TİM
At the meeting held with TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, the KOIMA delegation expressed their condolences for the earthquake disasters that took place in Türkiye on February 6.
The İstanbul phase of the "South Korea Buying Mission" program, which started in Bursa for the automotive industry and is planned to be completed between 6-11 March 2023, was held at the TİM Headquarters. Within the scope of the program coordinated by the Turkish Ministry of Trade and organized jointly by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) and Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association, Kim Byung-Kwan, President of the Korean Importers Association (KOIMA), and five automotive sector company officials accompanied by the Chairman of Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters Association, Mr. Baran Çelik, met with TİM Chairman Mr. Mustafa Gültepe.
At the meeting held with TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, the KOIMA delegation expressed their condolences for the earthquake disasters that took place in Türkiye on February 6. Indicating that they took action for Turkish citizens affected by the earthquake, the KOIMA delegation stated that the aid collected within its body was conveyed to the Embassy of Türkiye in Seoul.
Korean company representatives, who stated that they wish to increase their activities to increase the trade volume with Türkiye, drew attention to the importance of Türkiye's proximity to the European market for them. At the meeting, the invitation of Turkish companies to the biggest import fairs of South Korea was also discussed, while KOIMA President Kim Byung-Kwan expressed his satisfaction for visiting Türkiye for the third time in the last 7 months.
After the meeting, representatives of Korean companies in the buying mission and Turkish exporters operating in Türkiye's automotive supply industry came together and held bilateral business meetings. In the said program, Turkish and Korean companies held more than 50 bilateral business meetings.
