The First Step Towards Türkiye Innovation Week 2025 Has Been Taken
The preparatory efforts for the 12th edition of Türkiye Innovation Week 2025 commenced with the “Collective Wisdom Workshop.”
As part of the preparations for Türkiye Innovation Week 2025, which will be organized for the 12th time by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM), the “TIW 2025 Collective Wisdom Workshop” was held at the Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall within the TİM Foreign Trade Complex. Chaired by TİM Vice Chairman Ahmet Fikret Kileci, the workshop brought together representatives from companies and non-governmental organizations, as well as academics and investors. Throughout the day, discussions revolved around ideas, projects, and collaboration opportunities poised to shape the future of the innovation ecosystem.
“Over 570,000 Participants in 11 Years”
Speaking at the workshop's opening, TİM Vice Chairman Ahmet Fikret Kileci underscored Türkiye Innovation Week as one of the most significant organizations fostering an innovation culture and establishing a sustainable ecosystem in Türkiye. Kileci remarked, “As TİM, since 2012, we have successfully cultivated original ideas in our country, building a competitive and sustainable ecosystem. Over 11 years, we have reached more than 570,000 participants, engaged 10 million viewers, and achieved 182 million interactions. We have accomplished this together with all our stakeholders, and we continue to grow stronger with each passing day.”
Highlighting the strong link between innovation and exports, Kileci stated, “We place great importance on innovation and all the elements that contribute to its emergence, as there is a significant correlation between exports and innovation. If you have export ambitions, you must also set innovation goals.”
“A Robust Consultation Mechanism Underpins All Our Successes”
Recalling that last year's Türkiye Innovation Week revolved around the theme “Out of the Box: People, Culture, and Model,” Kileci emphasized that they had forged strong collaborations with countries that rank highly in global innovation indices, such as the United States, China, and Sweden.
Kileci continued, “Today, we will collectively discuss how to organize an even stronger Türkiye Innovation Week and how to achieve excellence. The foundation of all our successes thus far has been this robust consultation mechanism. By embracing the blessings of consultation, we will continue our efforts until we elevate our flagship event, Türkiye Innovation Week, to its most remarkable form.”
Concluding his remarks, Kileci extended his gratitude to all stakeholders contributing to the innovation journey, stating, “Your insights are truly invaluable. I sincerely thank everyone who has walked with us on Türkiye's innovation journey and all our stakeholders who have played a role in this endeavor. I wholeheartedly believe that together, we will achieve even greater successes.”
