New Strategies Discussed at the TİM Agriculture Board Meeting

The meeting, organized with the participation of Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Ahmet Bağcı, focused on discussions to increase agriculture and food exports.

The Türkiye Exporters Assembly Agriculture Board Meeting, hosted by TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, took place on Monday, March 25th, at the Istanbul Foreign Trade Complex. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Ahmet Bağcı, and TİM Agriculture Board Chairperson Melisa Tokgöz Mutlu.

The meeting, which included members of the TİM Agriculture Board and representatives of exporting companies in the sector, discussed the current situation of agriculture and exports in Türkiye as well as the board's work. The evaluations highlighted the aim to further increase agricultural product exports, which reached a record level of $31 billion in 2023. The collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and sector representatives was emphasized as assisting in solving the problems faced by exporters. Through this collaboration, support for exporters in entering markets and overcoming challenges is being planned.
