Born on 05.05.1955 in Gaziantep İslâhiye, Ali Uğur Ateş completed his primary, secondary and high school education in İslahiye. He successfully completed his higher education in the Department of Mathematics at Gaziantep University in 1976. He started to work in the Ministry of Finance and Customs in 1975, and left his own will in 1989 and started his business life.

He established Alp-Ateş Gübre Ltd.Şti. as a family business in 1989 and transformed it into a corporate organization. In 2003, he stepped into the fertilizer sector and started importing and distributing chemical fertilizers for use in agriculture from various countries of the world, increasing the number of dealers to 700 and establishing his company in Turkey. ranked high worldwide.

In 2010, He established his second company, Alp-Ateş Kimya A.Ş., and imported chemicals such as PVC, polyethylene and polypropylene from various countries of the world and supplied the raw material needs of many industrial establishments in Turkey.

He left the partnership in 2013 and established Altın Ateş Kimya A.Ş., which operates in chemical fertilizers, plastic raw materials and agricultural products. It carries out warehousing and logistics activities with its horizontal warehouses and silos in warehouses and warehouses with a capacity of 500,000 tons. In addition, by establishing 4 MW Solar Power Plants in the field of green energy, it obtains 100% of its facilities' energy needs from renewable energy.

The company has been included in the Fortune 500 and Capital 100 lists since 2014 and has risen to higher ranks by increasing its success every year.

Currently; He successfully carries out his duties as the Vice Chairman of the Mediterranean Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association, the Director and Consultant of TIM, and the President of the Turkish Fertilizer Importers Association.

He is married and has two children.
