150 Bilateral Business Meetings Held in Nigeria
The Türkiye Exporters Assembly organized a trade delegation to Lagos, Nigeria from August 20-23. The delegation included representatives from Turkish and Nigerian companies, who held 150 bilateral business meetings during the course of the event.
The Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) organized a general trade delegation covering all sectors to Nigeria between August 20-23, 2024 with the coordination of the Ministry of Trade. The delegation, which was organized in Lagos, included 15 Turkish exporter companies from various sectors, including mining, carpets, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrical-electronics, chemistry, and machinery.
In the course of the event, Turkish companies established new business associations and conducted market research, and 85 companies from Nigeria participated in the organization, which aims to increase the foreign trade volume between the two countries. The program included more than 150 bilateral meetings between Turkish and Nigerian companies.
