Turkish export broke a new record in September

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), with the participation of Minister of Trade Mrs. Ruhsar Pekcan, announced September 2019 export data during the 5th of its Regional Councils - Turkish Exporters Assembly TİM Mediterranean Council in Mersin. Turkey's exports broke the September month's record with 15 billion 220 million US Dollars on September 2019.

 

TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle said, “Since the beginning of this year, despite global trade wars and negative effects of economic and politic disagreements, our export sustaining succesful progress. This years number of our exporter firms is more than our importer firms first time in the last 13 years. Our export family which is in the focal point of sustainable economical development continues grow up every day. There was 79773 exporters in Turkey in 2018, today exporters number in our country reached 83286.

 

According to general trade system Turkey's export reached 15 billion 220 million US dollars in September 2019. First 9 months of the year export reached 132,5 billion US dollars with %2,56 growth rate, on the other hand export on last 12 months reached 180,2 billion US dollars.

 

TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle also said, “First of all, 1392 firms have started exporting on september. At the same time, 23 firm has joined our export family in Mersin. Firm number which has exported on september 2019 is 38744.

 

Turkish Lira used in the exporting to 175 countries.

During the september 2019 Turkish Lira used in the exporting to 175 countries. Total number increased %10,6 in reference to september on last year and reached 5 million Turkish Lira. Number of 6824 firms preferred Turkish Lira in declarations on september 2019. 

 

Turkish Eximbank Branch Office Has Opened

As part of the programme, Turkish Eximbank Mersin Branch Office took into service within the Mediteranean Exporters Association (AKİB) with the participation of Minister of Trade Mrs.Ruhsar Pekcan, TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle and General director of Eximbank Enis Gültekin.
