Governor of the city of Nevşehir, İlhami Aktaş, speaking at a working breakfast on Sunday, October 14th, thanked TIM for choosing Cappadocia for such an important organization while drawing attention to the tourism potential of the region.

TIM's Chairman İsmail Gülle stated: “We are pleased to have the highest participation so far in Cappadocia where we held the fifth of the Ambassadors' Meetings. We hosted representatives from 76 countries. With the dynamism of our economy and effort of our business people, Turkey's economy continues its strong performance. Of course, our esteemed Ambassadors have a big share in this. The Board of Directors and myself took over the export flag 3 months ago and we continue our work with new projects in full swing. I believe that in the new period, we will have an opportunity to work more closely with you.”

Gülle, continued that the countries' rise of customs walls against each other and their protectionist policies is not right. “We want to improve our dialogue with you who are the highest representatives of your countries. Through you, we want to express to the world our view of trade, the success story of our economy, what we did do far and what we will do in the future. We believe that; We will increase the international trade to the desired levels by removing the boundaries in trade, strengthening our mutual relations, transferring our experiences to each other. With your support and guidance, we will continue our efforts to increase global trade.”

Gülle added that they were pleased to continue the dialogue with diplomats during the fifth edition of the same organization which took place in Mardin in 2014 for the first time.
