Exporters ready for Turkey

Turkey has left behind the election period. By the general elections on the 12th of June, people voted to keep the incumbent government in office. Held at the fore of a boisterous state of affairs, the 18th Ordinary General Assembly was the focus of attention.
It was covered exhaustively by the press, and attended by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP (Republican People's Party) Leader Kılıçdaroğlu-the first meeting of the two leaders after the elections. Gathering exporters and politicians, the general assembly took place on the 25th of June at the Foreign Trade Center. Other than Prime Minister Erdoğan and CHP Leader Kılıçdaroğlu, Minister of State and Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Çiçek, Ministers of State Hayati Yazıcı, Zafer Çağlayan, Minister of State and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış, Agriculture Minister Mehdi Eker, (former) Transport Minister Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey Vedat Akgiray, Turkish Airlines General Manager Temel Kotil were present, as well.
In his speech, Mr.Büyükekşi held that their meeting had brought together entrepreneurs producing, exporting and creating employment for Turkey: "We are proud of our exporters. Your tenacity and courage return to our country in the form of foreign currency, value added and competitive advantage”. Mr.Büyükekşi emphasized the immensity of the contributions by exporters in Turkey's tale of success in the last decade. He also provided information on the activities of TIM. Pointing out the need for a program of transformation, Mr.Büyükekşi expressed their desire to formulate and implement an economic program centered on export and production.
